Born and raised in Wakiso, in the streets of Nansana, Akram grew up as the youngest goalkeeper in every street game before earning an academy place at fourteen. Family, faith and discipline shaped a shot-stopper who treats every session as an audition.

From grassroots football in Nansana to the senior ranks at Nansana Utd Academy in three seasons — a promotion, a Golden Glove and a first national team call-up along the way.
